September - December 2011
The final quarter of 2011 was a tough one for us and many other businesses out there. Budgets are being squeezed in almost every business we work with. Despite this though we still continued to provide a high level of work within these difficult financial times for a number of new and existing clients. We throughly enjoyed working with the team at HME Build and completed a total rebrand project for them. We also worked with a new franchise start up and produced a comprehensive set of design standards for their rapidly growing business. We continue to help MOMA with their day to day design requirements and have actively help push their brand language and delivery forwards into 2012. The last part of 2011 was full of rebranding exercises and we were very proud to completely rebrand Conspicuous, a company very close to our hearts, as we have been very close friends with it two Managing Directors for many years. In the last month of the year we have also been aprroached by the Organic Cookery School, Amazing Grace, Greedore, Bridge Greenhouses, Disposables Direct and the ATM group but to name a few and look forward to hopefully working with them in the new year.
Other news of note is that our MD recently became a Member of the Chartered Society of Designers after a successful application and interview at their London Offices, and the business has become an active member of the Halsemere Chamber of Trade and Commerce. We also hope to expand the business in next year and take on a new marketing manager, we will keep you posted but we hope Victoria will be able to join our team in 2012. On a final note Stonefern will be launching a brand new Surf clothing brand in Spring 2012. This venture is an in house project, more details to follow !
We have also started to produce still shot and motion based short videos for clients for promotional purposes, but rather than show you something corporate, we have choosen something a little more fun to put up. Enjoy our epic 'Boards and Beers' Trailer !

Finally we have got there! Hopefully all the missed dinners, copy arguments, cancelled lunch breaks, 800 cups of coffee, icon redraws, bad code hunting sessions, and cutting a portfolio of over 700 images down to 112 have been worth it....we would love your feedback, let us know what you think :)
This July we proudly launch our new webiste and confirm our 101st client of the decade as the Sky Sports Champions League Team. Watch the promo video for 'El clasico', the biggest derby in the world of football between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona on our new website. Stonefern was asked to produce book cover designs for the history based story board of the piece. Very proud to get involved!

January - April 2011
It has been a busy start to the year and we got stuck in immediately after the New Year celebrations by producing printed material for Bluehouse estate agents, a company whose brand we had produced back in 2010. Next up was a redesign of the Summerhouse Media logo and several concept designs for our friends at Wavehunters down in Cornwall. This year we have also got involved with design work for two recuitment companies run by sisters, all after a chance encounter on facebook and some pub pizza. We are looking forward to rebranding Conspicuous next month and developing more advert designs for London based Hanson Search.
On the home front we have decided that in these hard times charity starts at home and with this in mind we rebranded our local village hall and designed them a really user friendly website completely free of charge, check it out! a great little venue. On the back of this we recieved an instruction from our local nursery to design a tie in site for them (as they share the same building) and look forward to helping them out with their brochures and prospectus in the next quarter.
We also spent time helping out our local festival here in Haslemere with designs for this Springs really successful music and fringe events. In April, eight new clients knocked on our door and we have been busy producing adverts, logos, leaflets, flyers, business cards, websites, car graphics and packaging. May appeared far too quickly and we were extremely honoured to be approached by MOMA! foods to help with their day to day design requirements. We always look forward to their emails, whether it be the MOMA! your muffin top promotion, branding their delivery fleet or designing a couple of charity marathon running suits shaped like yogurt pots!
The next quarter is shaping up to be very exciting. We hope to repeat the success of last years 'Biking for Burma' road trip from London to Paris. Stonefern teamed up with members of Sky Sports to complete the 285 mile journey. We ran a branded Audi RS4 Avant support car and acted as official tour photographer, this year we hope to get in the saddle! Check out the video of the guys in action. They proudly raised over £2000 for the 'Building Schools for Burma' charity.
