Stonefern is a small, flexible and friendly graphic design studio based in Surrey.
Stonfern provides a complete design service incorporating every element of graphic design and supply. We are a member of the Chartered Society of Designers as well as the Haslemere & District Chamber of Trade and Commerce and work with clients from all over London and the South East of England....You name it, there’s already a good chance we’ve thought about it, researched it, designed it, refined it, printed it, packaged it, advertised it, promoted it, stuck it on a vehicle, set up the website and probably even sold you the t-shirt...

In our ten years of experience we have learnt many lessons, but in the studio we adhere to 5 simple daily design rules at all times... Simple, we work in partnership with trusted, specialist companies throughout the UK. These companies have exactly the same approach to client satisfaction and care as we do. We never post set prices for our design services because they are always completely unique and tailored to suit your business or brand. How it all began
Back in the day..
Stonefern began life as the 'London Lightbox' back in 2002, formed by Mark Foster, our Senior Art Director and owner. Mark had been working as a designer since the late 90’s. He learned his craft drafting in architects studios and designing in retail studios as an interior structural architect and graphic designer. He realised within a large studio environment the design process wasn’t tailored effectively to the client needs. The only way to address this inbalance was to set up his own design studio and do things a little differently. At Stonefern, great design became only half of the client journey.
Where to find us
Our new home in the heart of Surrey
In 2005 Stonefern opened for business, based in an old stone plinth barn surrounded by ferns, hence our name. Since then Stonefern has been based in London, Canterbury and Sydney whilst working for a wide range of domestic and international clients. In 2009 the Stonefern studio found a new home in some old converted stables just outside Haslemere, here in the heart of Surrey.
